is a multidisciplinary creative collaborative founded by Lucia and Ito in Minneapolis, MN in 2018.

LUCITO’s work spans scale, medium and context–from architecture and landscape to writing, printmaking, installation, and sculpture.

Our creative process is one of finding the project through context, dialogue, historic reference, and material constraint.
LUCITO approaches each work as an open-ended process without preconceived notions of material, form and concept, wherein each intervention evolves out of an act of discovery and limitation.

Lucia is a designer, multimedia artist, academic and co-founding principal of LUCITO.

Lucia is currently a Visiting Critic in the Department of Architecture, Cornell, AAP and has previously taught in the Department of Architecture, Weitzman School of Design, University of Pennsylvania;  the Azrieli School of Architecture and Urbanism, and Carleton University; and from 2015-17 as the Cass Gilbert Visiting Assistant Professor in the School of Architecture, College of Design, University of Minnesota. He has been nominated for the United States Artist Fellowship and the Civitella Ranieri Prize for Architecture.

Lucia received a Master of Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania and a B.A. in Architecture from the University of Minnesota.
